These terms explain the basic rules for using Yardgazing as a visitor, searcher, host, customer, or account holder. By using the site, you agree to them.

Who can use Yardgazing

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to use Yardgazing. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. We may add additional verification steps over time, including phone verification for some accounts, listings, or features.

What Yardgazing is

Yardgazing is a discovery platform. We help people find seasonal displays, get ideas, and connect with hosts. We do not own, operate, manage, inspect, supervise, or control the displays, properties, events, merchandise, experiences, routes, or host-created offerings listed on the platform.

For visitors and searchers

Visitors and searchers are people who use Yardgazing to browse displays, get ideas, plan a visit, follow a route, or buy something from a host. If you choose to visit a location or buy something from a host, you do so at your own risk and you assume full responsibility for that decision.

We are not responsible for the status, accuracy, timing, availability, accessibility, safety, legality, quality, or suitability of any listing, display, property, route, merchandise, VIP content, ticketed experience, premium experience, or on-site offer. You are responsible for checking traffic, weather, parking, neighborhood conditions, property details, safety conditions, and anything else relevant to your visit before you go.

That includes, without limitation, injuries, accidents, theft, vandalism, travel delays, cancellations, crowd issues, property conditions, inaccurate descriptions, outdated information, and any harm or loss of any kind during transit or at the location. Once you decide to go, that is your decision and your responsibility.

Reviews, ratings, and community content

Reviews, ratings, comments, and other user-generated content reflect the views of the people who post them. We do not guarantee that reviews are accurate, complete, fair, or truthful, and we are not liable for false, misleading, incomplete, or offensive reviews or comments. If something appears fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful, users may report it and we may investigate and take action.

Host offers, products, and experiences

Physical products, digital content, VIP access, tickets, premium experiences, merchandise, support offers, and any other host-created offering are created and controlled by the host, not by Yardgazing. If a host fails to deliver, changes what was offered, engages in bait-and-switch behavior, or otherwise acts improperly, that issue is between the host and the customer.

You may report those issues to us, and we may investigate and take action against the host, listing, or account. But Yardgazing is not the seller, organizer, operator, fulfillment party, or guarantor of host-created offerings.

For hosts

Hosts are fully responsible for the listings, displays, addresses, schedules, descriptions, media, products, offers, and experiences they publish. You may only create listings for properties you own or are authorized to represent. If we learn that a listing was created without proper rights or authority, we may remove it.

If you publish your address or otherwise invite people to visit your property or display, you accept full responsibility for that decision and for the consequences of making that information public. That includes traffic, parking, neighborhood impact, HOA issues, municipal or law-enforcement issues, crowd control, property access, property damage, theft, vandalism, disruption, or any other loss or damage.

Yardgazing is not responsible for any of those outcomes, and no HOA, authority, visitor, neighbor, or third party may hold Yardgazing responsible for them. If you publish a location, you are inviting members of the public to find and visit it, and you take responsibility for that choice.

Hosts are also responsible for complying with any local rules, property rules, permits, ordinances, taxes, and other obligations that apply to their display or their offerings.

Host content and moderation

Hosts are responsible for all content they publish on Yardgazing, including listing copy, display descriptions, media, VIP content, offers, and comments they control. Yardgazing does not pre-screen everything that appears on the platform. We may investigate content that is reported to us or that we believe may violate state or federal law, these terms, or our platform standards.

Yardgazing is intended to be family-oriented. We hope the platform remains a place where people can find displays to enjoy together. If a listing or piece of content crosses that line, the host may be notified and the listing or account may be paused, edited, restricted, or removed until the issue is resolved. At the same time, content that is merely unusual, edgy, or offensive to some viewers may still be permitted unless it violates law or platform standards.

Payments and fees

Yardgazing may offer payment, monetization, and payout tools for hosts. Payment processing, card handling, and bank or payout information are handled by Stripe and related payment partners, not stored directly by Yardgazing. Hosts are responsible for handling refunds, fulfillment, customer service, taxes, and compliance for their own offerings unless we expressly say otherwise.

Yardgazing may charge platform fees on transactions, and payment processor fees may also apply. Current fees may be shown in the dashboard, checkout flow, or payout materials. Fees can change over time. If we change platform fees, we may update these terms and, where appropriate, give advance notice before the change takes effect.

Accounts, security, and misuse

You are responsible for your account, password, and any activity under your login. Do not impersonate others, create listings for properties you do not control, try to access accounts or systems you are not authorized to use, or misuse the platform in ways that harm other people, hosts, or the service itself.

No guarantees and limited role

Yardgazing is provided as-is and as-available. We do not guarantee that listings will be accurate, complete, current, available, uninterrupted, or error-free, or that any display, host, or offering will meet expectations. We may add, change, suspend, limit, or remove features, listings, content, or accounts at any time.

Our role is to help people discover displays and connect with hosts. We do not take responsibility for what happens once people decide to visit, buy, attend, or participate.

Suspension and removal

We may investigate reports, restrict visibility, remove content, pause listings, suspend accounts, or terminate access if we believe a user, host, or listing violates these terms, creates legal risk, harms others, or undermines the platform. We are not required to keep any listing, content, or account live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Yardgazing evolves. By continuing to use the platform after updated terms take effect, you agree to the revised version. For information about cookies, analytics, and how we handle data, please also review our Privacy Policy.
